If you feed a hungry animal, are you a hero?  If you rescue an abused or abandoned animal, are you a hero? If you wash the oil and mud from a bird so that it might live and fly again, are you a hero?

Or if you save animals suffering from neglect, such as those with hooves that need trimming, living in filth, or exposed to severe cold and heat, are you also a hero?

Of course you are! Count yourself amongst the living human beings that make a difference in our world…and a world of difference to those you help save. Smile the next time you are in front of a mirror. No matter your health, wealth or looks, you are a ‘good person!’

I share the story of Cristian Ruben, undoubtedly a good and caring person who wants to help us all learn about people who love and care for animals. It is the least I can do to help our animal friends. His films will ignite a new awareness or reignite our sense of how we need to do more for them.

I'd like to share with you his website, which explains his mission more effectively than I can. And, I will share his video links often to keep that awareness alive. The more people in communities learn about and become aware of the need for more support for their animal charities, the more ‘heroes’ can look in their mirrors ... and smile.
